Hey Craig, no doubt, F&B attracts its share of characters. And #5 is a challenge in the restaurant industry because every job requires people skills, but sometimes the hiring is less focused on those skills than hard skills and relationships.

Seems like most of these people have a serious problem with #5. People with no leadership skills whatsoever often jump in because they are such control freaks. Some people just lack empathy and can never see something from another’s perspective.

Gordon just walked, huh? Interesting. When I was in my 20s I had a lot of experience working in the food industry and just about every manager / chef I ever worked for was a loon 😉
