Nashville has treated us very well Laura! As for the hotel, R actually had to get a manager to make it happen when she went down for the check-in check out process. The counter agent could not make it happen!

Agree 100%. The systems are the baselines you need in place to deliver consistently and effectively, but those systems have to be executed by a team of empowered, trained, and competent reps.

So good to see you Saturday!!! I’m just sorry to hear a certain hotel in town wasn’t more accomodating. BOO!

Great post though, Adam. I think that so many larger organizations live and die by their systems and don’t empower employees to do the right thing. Not every situation is going to be covered by a manual. And, even if they are, learning to be flexible can go a LONG way with customer service.
