That’s a great point Darragh. The sales certainly seem to have an impact on consumer pricing expectations. It would be interesting to know how and if those expectations carry over past “the season” at all.

Plus the way some companies use pricing as a “weapon” they give customers totally bloated ideas of how high profit margins are when sometimes they actually already sell below cost in many areas even before promotions.
