I’ve been thinking the same thing. It’s hard to find research from the US that’s not just about the US. The customer service industry is not pretty evolved here in Norway, we’re far behind the US. But, things are improving, and I’m doing my best to stay on top of what’s happening. I’m currently working with Volvo Norway and they’re doing a lot when it comes to CS.

My pleasure Jeff! We ran down a lot of rabbit holes when we did our first infographic a few months ago. Legitimate, verifiable sources were hard to find. We remember seeing one infographic that said “Source: Google” at the bottom. We tried to do just a little better than that! 🙂

Hey Jens, I so rarely think about how U.S. centric so much of the research we find is. Is the customer experience/customer service industry over there pretty evolved? Is there much activity — research, consulting, etc. Sounds like you are seeing CS improve across the board.

There’s a lot of great customer service & experience statistics, but finding the source can sometimes be like wandering down a rabbit hole!

This is very interesting, and I wish I had the numbers for Norway. I am not sure if they are anything similar or not. I know that Norwegians are getting used to good customer service, but it didn’t used to be like that. It’s still fairly easy to keep a customer happy, if you just do something extra, because very few companies do.I see that several of the companies I’m working for get a lot of questions on Facebook, so that’s absolutely increased here in Norway.
